George arrived on the "Thomas Harrison" on 25th Oct 1842. He kept a store at Bush End, Tadmor.
George was a farmer up the Sherry for some years. In "Freeholders of NZ 1882" he farmed 224 acres valued at 380 pounds. Had 11 kids. Marriage registered in Wakefield Registry Office.
