Married George Kinzett 17 Jul 1826 in Wasperton, Warwickshire.

Arrived in Nelson, New Zealand on the "Thomas Harrison" 25th October,1842.

The family I am trying to trace are from around the Loxley area of Warwickshire.

Both of Loxley parish.  Witness W Tennant - signed.  1801 - Widower at time of marriage to Sarah, a widow.  1841 - 90 yrs, agricultural labourer, dwelling Wellesbourne, Halton Parish, Barlichway Hundred, with wife, son Richard 35, his wife and their 4 children. They must have been getting on in years when they had their offspring!   Died aged 91 yrs.

RICHARD BOLTER 1805: 1841 - 35 yrs, agricultural labourer, dwelling Wellesbourne, Halton Parish with wife and 4 children in parents household. 1851 - 46 yrs, agricultural labourer, dwelling Loxley with wife and three kids.  1861 - 56 yrs, widowed agricultural labourer dwelling Village of Shottery, Old Stratford with unmarried son and his son's illegitemate son and his mother, Charlotte Darkley, a 23 yr old seamstress boarding there.  Also next on census page to older half brother William Evetts, his wife and unmarried son.   1871 - 66 yrs, widowed agricultural labourer, boarding with son and his family in Stratford.  1881 - 77 yrs, Agricultural labourer, dwelling Union Workshop in Old Stratford.  Died aged 84 yrs.

In a 6 roomed house.

RICHARD BOLTER 1835: 1841 - 5 yrs, with parents in grandparents household.  1851 - 15 yrs, living with parents in Loxley.  1861 - 24 yr, unmarried agricultural labourer dwelling Village of Shottery, Old Stratford with widowed father, illegitemate son and his mother, Charlotte Darkley, a 23 yr old seamstress boarding there.   1871 - 35 yrs, agricultural labourer dwelling 2 Shakespeare Court., Stratford, with wife and 3 children as well as widowed father boarding with them. Also next to younger brother William and his wife.  1881 - 43 yrs, general labourer, dwelling 13 Greenhill St., Stratford on Avon, with wife and 2 grown up offspring and a grandson Francis S b. Stratford.   1891 - 55 yrs, general labourer, dwelling 44 Shottery Rd with wife and unmarried son Richard. (Same address as Thomas and Mary Hodgkins - daughter).  1901 - 65 yrs, general labourer, dwelling 39 Shottery Rd with wife and unmarried son Richard.  Died aged 71 yrs.

Wife CHARLOTTE abt 1838:  Daughter of Elizabeth.   1861 - 23 yrs, unmarried seamstress boarding with the grandfather and father of her son.  1871 - 33 yrs. 1881 - 42 yrs.  18 October 1881 - Charlotte imprisoned for 3 months on a charge of "Larrcony from the person and receiving". 1891 - 54 yrs.  1901 - 64 yrs.  Died aged 69 yrs.

RICHARD JOHN DRAKELEY 1858: 1861 - John Bolter, 2 yrs in household of grandfather, along with unmarried father and mother who is a boarder!  1871 - John Bolter, 12 yrs, living with parents.  1881 - 22 yrs, general labourer, living with parents.  1891 - 32 yrs, general labourer, living with parents.  1901 - 42 yrs, Brewers Drayman, living with parents.  1911 - 52 yrs, single bricklayers labourer, living with sister Mary and her husbandc at Wellesbourne Grove, Stratford on Avon.  Died aged 70 yrs. Surname Bolter at death registration and in all census records.
