JOHN of Calverleigh - Will written 18 September 1661 at what point of time he was a yeoman of Calverleigh "being sicke and weak of body but of good ad perfect memory". He wanted a Christian burial. The poor of Calverleigh twenty shillings. Son John bequeathed house his father living in along with Estate associated with it provided Barbara (John snrs wife) "shall have the use and occupation of the tenament during her natural life". Son Daniel gets the chattels, lease associated estate in the village called Palmer? (Palmershayne). Son Henry gets chattell lease in a tenament occupied by fiend John Lawents as well as £40. Daughter Mary gets £140 upon reaching 21 yrs. Another daughter Elizabeth is married to a John Chamberlin. Sister Margaret married to someone with surname starting with A (I think) - she gets 2o shillings. Wife Barbara sole Executrix.
